In the year 2015, at age 19, she debuted her first single Here. It was an instant hit that both critics and fans praised it. It was ranked in the Canadian Hot 100, and Billboard Hot 100, ranked it as 19. Even Rolling Stone listed the smash as one the most popular Songs of 2015. That same year, she dropped her debut album Know It All with the third track Scars to Your Beautiful being the first of five tracks that peaked at Billboard charts including the Canadian Albums Chart Billboard 200 and Billboard Hot 100. Cara is well-known for her ability to incorporate songs about mental health, kindness and self-love into her music. Her inspiration for her music is derived from her own struggle to conquer mental health issues and insomnia. Reuters stated that she calls the album "half tumultuous, half perfected". She found growth through therapy and she encourages others to seek help if necessary. Alessia Cara has been a Canadian artist since the year 1996. Her parents come from Italian descent. At the age of 10 old her parents gave her a guitar, which was the starting point of her musical passion. In the year 2003, she turned 13 years old, she started to sing her most loved songs via YouTube. It was an excellent way to showcase to others that she possessed both ability and determination.
